Be glad...

...You have a brain!

That was fun.

Hey now!

I love it as I love anything chaotic. But it's so bad I considerred blamming it. Meh... I think a few more douche bags watching it before the haters get to destroy it can only do the world some good. I mean, it's already turd of the week.
I HATE that screaming music. It makes one, skinny, bearded guy sound like thirty roughneck lunatics shouting into a nuns ahole. But whatever. I put the volume down and watched Einstien dance (who I also love as anything chaotic).
Keep up... the boredom(?).

Good Work

This is a fine flash. The author has done well. It's certainly worth a watch and a lookout.
My beefs are simple... Pentagrams ain't bad symbols, a crusafix on the other hand... that's debatable.
My praises are these... I loved the way you do backgrounds. Stylish without looking overworked. The demon was the best animated character (and not because he was coloured).
Hope to see more MT.

Breath Taking

You're obviously a 10th degree black belt in Animation. Wildly original. Dang.

WATCH THIS!

This is what Thoughtful Flash looks like

Thanks for taking the time, AloneInTheDark. I truly appreciate it. Your use of line is incredible. Your background scene incredible. Your colours are deep. Your meaning is hidden and in our face.
And in the end I am in the grey. Just like life. Hmmmm...
I look forward to anytime you feel like sharing again.

Hey thanks! Im glad u took ur time to see and review it too. Take care

Ouch!

That hurt me to watch. But damn that was poingiant. Well "directed". I love it, though I doubt I'll be watching it over and over. Can't take that much.

Great mood. Great point. And I know WAY to many people like the board of smile. And sadder still, the sexy bitch.

And for the record, that last scene made me smile :)

It's Art!

Politics and art have gone hand and hand since before politics and art were words in any language. Feelings and emotions come up in us all when we feel wronged, hurt, demorilized, or even just plain old unsafe. Jose is an artist very near to this particular event. And artists express these things in ways that mean something to them. And that's is the only thing relevant in this piece.
This is a selfish piece. Like it or not. It is for the artist, and the artist chose to share it. Of course, that may not matter to those who don't know him. But as a friend of his, it matters to me. And for THAT I will defend this piece. It's an interpretation of an event that effected him deeply, weather you care about the U.S. or not. That's all it is. So to me... Ranking this art would be a slap in the face to the author and what he went through in that time.
Reviewing with your opinions on the politics dealt within the art is almost as irrelevant as the art's score on Newgrounds.
So no matter what "side" you're on, what flag you put on the entenna of your car, or even what buildings went down that day, this is art.
If Jose were George Bush, then I could see where the critisism comes from. But he's not. He's a person who had something to express. And art like that you must simply take for what it is. And at very least, it got 190 people talking about important issues.
Now flame the fuck out of me if being a little sensitive (or even using words like sensitive) makes that bitter ball inside of you want to burst. It's all expression, and I can only take that for what it's worth.
At least we said something.

Black is back...

Finally, he's back and the suspence grows deeper. With less than 10 words Eric has been able to deliver a story no one can hate. I've been watching this since the beginning and if you've missed any part of the series well, booooyyy, go back and check it out.

Only Because It WORKS

I think that we're going to see quite a few copies of the amazing style in this comic. But before anyone tries they should think of all the reasons that people are sitting through the twenty minutes of flash. I think it works because of it's cohesive themes strewn about the whole book at properly placed moments. Others have critisized the diologue for being too over the top, but hell, it's a dark, and inteligent comic, it's a style of that art, so it works. Of course no one really thinks so elegantly, but it really pushes the emotion and theme, and that's why people chose that kind of diologue.
The music was pretty good. Very intense, so it works with all other elements quite nicely. The stings of sound are great, and well positioned. And speaking of which, the juxtapositioning of frames and the like was brilliant (allthough at times it can be confusing, but those are few, and they pass).
I could ramble all night about it, but that would do no good. The point is if you like the style and are going to attempt it, try to understand it first. It's a tricky one that Tobias wields quite nicely.

Anyone agree Alex should direct film?

Beautiful movie. Since Alex can't read english too well, we should just keep voting this movie higher until he gets the message. WE WANT MORE!

Truth. Justice. Peace.
