This is what Thoughtful Flash looks like

Thanks for taking the time, AloneInTheDark. I truly appreciate it. Your use of line is incredible. Your background scene incredible. Your colours are deep. Your meaning is hidden and in our face.
And in the end I am in the grey. Just like life. Hmmmm...
I look forward to anytime you feel like sharing again.

AloneInTheDark responds:

Hey thanks! Im glad u took ur time to see and review it too. Take care

Sweet stuff

Loved the way you changed the emotion in the middle. VERY Hitchcock. The best part was where the gunshots hit (and missed) the snake-like blob. I have tons of sounds (realistic and cartoon) that you could grab. Just e-mail me. Peace and keep up the toons.

Doodler responds:

Actually, finding sound wasnt the problem...I was just too lazy to compile it all together =P

Silly me.

Good shit.

I liked your "Stick Slayer" series, but this one looks like it's going to be much better. Your use of flow and direction is a pleasure to watch. I bet you use storyboards (maybe I sould start :) cause the pacing works perfectly. Like that song you chose for the beginning as well. Over all this was a fine piece o flash. Keep it up, because we're waiting for part two.

Ben-Spurgin responds:

OK I'm going to tell you my secret. People always say that the music goes good with my movies. Well, actually, the MOVIE is going to the MUSIC. I hear music and scenes just start flashing through my head. To me, the music is the most important part of the animation. If you make your movie go with the music, your timing takes care of itself automatically! Trust me, try the Fantasia method. Storyboards not included!

Great Sub-Movie

Awesome spin off. Very original. I'd LOVE to see the entire map for that course. I couldn't even imagine the planing involved with this short. Sweet idea with the tiny character intro at the loader. And lets not forget about our good ol' friend CCR. Good job Azure. Keep it up.

AzureSt0ne responds:

Actually, there wasn't much planning. I just kinda drew a line, slid the map, drew another, slid, and so on and then added colors to it. The real pain in the ass was trying to get the damn truck to look like it was driving on it, instead of just floating around.

Sorry

Buddy. This was a real creative way to rip off a movie. But it was a rip off none the less. I gave this a seven for style because the effect WAS good. But maybe you should try to apply it more creatively next time. I know this was your first flash, but I think you could do better. If you wanted to see that part of the matrix, wouldn't you just pop in the movie?

Holybush responds:

thanks for your comment,
im gonna make it better next time (more creatively:)

Truth. Justice. Peace.
